The International Christian Church was born out of a Home Fellowship on 20th May, 1966 with a group of Christians who had immigrated from the South of Italy to the city of Newcastle NSW Australia. The home fellowship developed into what is now The International Christian.

In 1984 God placed on the hearts of the Italian Christians in Newcastle to purchase a Church on this present location at 37 Queen Street Waratah West. This Church began under the ministry of Pastor Tony Ienco who has remained the Pastor for the past 30 years. Through the years this Church has become a multi-national church with members attending from many different countries.

Each year the Church is favoured with visiting ministries from around the world. We are committed to becoming a body of related believers and desire always to be open to truths being restored and revival in the body of Christ around the world.
